About EKU Cheerleading...
EKU sponsors an all-girl squad and one large co-ed cheerleading team that participates in all home football games, men's basketball games and women's basketball games as well as representing Eastern Kentucky University at a variety of community and campus events throughout the year. The EKU Cheer Teams also compete in the UCA Collegiate National Championships in Orlando, Florida in January. Both the Coed and the All Girl teams have finished as high as third in the Nation at this prestigious event.

About EKU Dance Team...
EKU sponsors a Division I Dance Team that participates in all home football games, home men's basketball games and home women's basketball games as well as representing Eastern Kentucky University at a variety of community and campus events throughout the year. This also includes the ASUN Tournament. In the past, the team has also participated in national dance competitions at the NDA Nationals, in which they have placed second in the Pom Division on Top 5 in the Team Performance Division. Members of the dance team are eligible for partial scholarship funding.
