With EKU’s second season as part of the ASUN Conference, several changes to the football ticketing process are still in effect. These include a new season ticket benefit program, and shifted renewal calendar.
The early renewal deadline is April 30, 2022, coinciding with the Spring Game, and final renewal deadline is May 31, 2022. All renewals will be for seats assigned to the ticket holder during the 2021 season. Adjustments to the seating assignments will be made before the season if local and campus safety protocols require it this fall.
Renewals should arrive in mid-March for all season ticket holders!
Individuals who renew their seats by April 30, 2022 are entitled to a new benefits package alongside their season ticket. Each account that renews their seats before the early renewal deadline will receive two additional tickets to a select game (TBD by EKU) to provide friends a chance to join in on the fun of EKU. Those who prefer to commit to their season tickets with a payment plan will have the option to pay their first payment by the early renewal deadline, then make additional payments in May, June and July. Additionally, EKU employees who pay for their season tickets before the early renewal deadline will receive 20% off the price of their 2022 season tickets (does not apply to impact fees). In addition to the early renewal benefits, all season ticket holders will enjoy a robust package of benefits including:
- Season ticket holders will have access fees for an EKU Recreation Center membership waived, giving them the chance to gain access to purchase exclusive memberships.
- EKU will continue to implement its clear bag policy for the 2022 season. As part of this continued move, each new season ticket account will receive an exclusive gift of a clear bag that complies with the new safety policy.
- Season ticket holders are given first access to purchase additional single game tickets and will have the chance to purchase their regular season tickets for postseason games held at Roy Kidd Stadium.
- EKU will provide 6 lucky season ticket holders the chance to win additional prizes during our two-week contest in early May for renewed and new season ticket holders.
- EKU employees who pay for their season tickets before April 30 will receive 20% off the price of their 2022 season tickets (does not apply to impact fees).
Most fans will see no increase in their season ticket price for the 2022 season, with many seeing reduced pricing for their seats as part of updated seating plans inside Roy Kidd Stadium for the 2022 season. Fans will also see changes to the single-game ticketing process for the 2022 season as a variable pricing method will be in place, similar to the process used for single-game tickets during last football season, adding additional value to being a season ticket holder.
