BAG CHECKS AND METAL DETECTION SECURITY MEASURES

This upcoming season we've partnered with a new security company, Guard Logic, to enhance our safety and security protocols during our events. Guard Logic's trained professionals will be responsible for conducting metal detection and bag checks at all entry points.

What to Expect:
  • Metal Detection: As you enter, you'll pass through metal detectors operated by Guard Logic. To help speed up the process, please remove any metal objects, such as keys or phones, before reaching the checkpoint.
  • Bag Checks: All bags will be thoroughly checked to ensure the safety of everyone at the event. Please be patient and have your bags open and ready for inspection. In addition, please comply with our clear bag policy listed below.

Helpful Tips:
  • Arrive Early: To avoid delays, we recommend arriving a bit earlier than usual to allow time for these new procedures.
  • Travel Light: If possible, bring only essential items to minimize the time spent at bag checks.
  • Cooperate with Security: Our Guard Logic team is here to help keep everyone safe. Please follow their instructions and treat them with respect.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
ClearBagPolicy2021
In an effort to ensure the safety and well-being of fans at EKU Athletics events, the Department of Athletics will continue to use a Clear Bag Policy.

The approved size for clear bags will be a maximum of 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, or a one-gallon clear plastic, zip top freezer bag. Clear bags may be subject to search, but it is anticipated that times will be minimal.
Bags that are necessary for medical equipment will be searched and marked at each entry point.

Non-transparent clutch purses that are no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches will be allowed.

No other bags, backpacks, or purses will be permitted and the limit of allowable bags is one per person.
