Appeared in 14 games and made 10 starts … recorded an 0-7 record with a 7.65 ERA … struck out 29 batters in 42 1/3 innings … did not allow an earned run in four innings during his first start of the season against SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 15) … allowed just one run and struck out five in 5 2/3 innings against Bellarmine (March 14).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2023 AT WALTERS STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Played in 11 games … went 2-0 with a 6.55 ERA … struck out 27 in 22 innings … averaged 11.05 strikeouts per nine innings.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Ranked as the No. 5 left-handed pitcher in Virginia and the 77th ranked lefty in the country by Perfect Game … had a 1.62 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings as a senior at Independence High School in 2022 … posted a 7-1 record his senior season … helped Independence capture the state championship in 2021 and earned the win in the title game … two-time all-region selection as a basketball player for IHS.

Son of Sean Gagen and Jennifer Laudano … has one brother – Jack … his dad Sean played collegiate basketball at Westminster College … plans to major in communications.
