AS A FRESHMAN IN 2025
Appeared in 19 games and started twice as a freshman … went 2-0 with one save and a 4.83 ERA across 41 innings … struck out 39 and walked 15 … earned the win after pitching 5 2/3 innings of scoreless relief against Central Arkansas (May 4), striking out five … held North Alabama (May 11) to two runs in 6 2/3 innings with five strikeouts in his first collegiate start.

HIGH SCHOOL
Finished senior season 8-2 with a 1.62 ERA across 65 innings … helped the Knights win district and region championships in 2024 … posted a 6-2 record and a 2.30 ERA as a sophomore in 2022.

Son of Walter Bounds and Allison Burkley … has two sisters – Aspyn and Brinley … his dad Walter played collegiate baseball at Ole Miss … his uncle Jason played baseball at Mississippi State and his uncle Drew played at Alabama … plans to major in exercise science.
