AS A FRESHMAN IN 2024
Played in eight games and started twice … batted .333 with four runs and two RBIs … had a 2-for-4 game with two runs against Morehead State (March 19) … finished 2-for-2 with a run and two RBIs against Jacksonville (May 18).

HIGH SCHOOL
Helped Saint Joseph High School to a 21-10 record and the Greater Middlesex County Championship as a senior in 2023 … finished his high school career with a .302 average, 30 runs, 42 RBIs and 18 doubles.

Full name is Christian Idelfonso Azcona … son of Idelfonso and Maxima Azcona … has one brother – Lenny, and one sister – Erika … plans to major in general business.
