Went 3-0 with a 3.80 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 17 innings as a senior in 2019 at Johnson Central High School … picked up all-region honors as a junior after going 2-1 with a 2.20 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 50 innings of work … as a sophomore in 2017 he was 4-2 with a 1.40 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched … won four district championships and a region title as a member of the Eagles’ basketball team … set the school record for three-point field goal percentage.
