HIGH SCHOOL
Earned second team all-state honors as a senior … led McCracken County High School to a 35-6 record in 2021, a district championship, a region title and a spot in the state finals … helped McCracken County HS to a 33-8 record, a district championship and a region title as a sophomore in 2019 … picked up honorable mention all-district recognition in 2019 after batting .300 with three home runs and 26 RBIs, and going 6-1 with 19 strikeouts and a 3.67 ERA on the mound.

Full name is Grant Tanner Godwin … son of Brent and Paige Godwin … has one brother – Noah, and one sister -- Lindsey … his dad Brent played collegiate baseball at North Alabama … majoring in history teaching.
