AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021
Appeared in two games … pitched one and one-third innings, walking two and striking out two … did not allow any hits … pitched an inning of scoreless relief with two strikeouts at Murray State (April 24) ... earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020
Made four appearances and started once … was 2-0 with a 4.22 ERA … struck out 12 batters in 10 and two-thirds innings … did not allow an earned run and struck out four in three and two-thirds innings at No. 11 LSU (Feb. 23) … struck out a season-high five batters in three and one-third innings against Siena College (March 1) ... earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019
Saw action in 12 games … made one start … went 0-2 with a 4.80 ERA … struck out 12 in 15 innings of work … made his first collegiate start at No. 8 Louisville (Feb. 19), allowing one earned run in two innings and striking out two … pitched a season-high three and one-third innings and struck out a season-best four against Western Carolina (May 14) ... earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played three years at Hillgrove High School … helped lead the team to three straight region 7A championships … named a 2017 Under Armor Pre-season All-American … 2017 Perfect Game All-American honorable mention … 2018 Perfect Game Southeast All-American … ranked as the 500th best player overall in the country.

Full name is Julian Jackson … son of Troy Jackson and Kimberly Shaw … his father played basketball at George Mason University … his mother played basketball at Indiana University of Pennsylvania … majoring in sport management.
