High School – Twice earned all-conference honors … first team all-district as a senior … team captain … also played basketball for four years … River Valley High valedictorian … academic all-state … National Honor Society president … Chris Spielman Scholar-Athlete honoree.

Personal – Son of John and Lisa Klingel … born on Jan. 24, 1995 … his father played at EKU from 1983-86 and went on to play for the Philadelphia Eagles.
