AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR IN 2016
William V. Campbell Trophy semifinalist (national scholar athlete award) … started all 11 games at defensive tackle … finished the season with 33 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss of 20 yards, 1.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries, three pass break-ups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery … posted a season-best five tackles at Austin Peay (Nov. 12) … had 2.5 tackles for a loss, including a sack, for a total of 11 yards against Pikeville (Sept. 8) ... earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR IN 2015
Played in and started all 11 games at defensive tackle … had 26 tackles, one sack, two quarterback hurries and one pass break-up … fourth on the team with six tackles for a loss … recorded a sack for a loss of four yards at North Carolina State (Sept. 12) … finished with a season-high seven tackles, including 1.5 tackles for a loss, at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 21) … nominee for the 2015 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. 
 
AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2014
Played in all 13 games with 12 starts at defensive tackle … voted defensive lineman of the year by his teammates … finished the season with 35 tackles including five tackles for loss … finished the season with four quarterback hurries … had a two yard sack against Indiana State on Nov. 29 ... chipped in six tackles against Jacksonville State on Nov. 8 … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2014-15 Colonel Scholar. 
 
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2013
Saw action in all 12 games with one start at defensive tackle … earned first collegiate start versus Coastal Carolina on Sept. 14 … recorded a sack in his first collegiate game against Robert Morris on Aug. 29 … involved in a tackle for loss in four games … chipped in with three tackles at Morehead State (Sept. 21) and four at Southeast Missouri (Oct. 26). 
 
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012
Redshirt season … named the team’s Defensive Future of the Year.

Associated Press first team all-state … Louisville Courier-Journal second team all-state … All-Big 8 defensive lineman … District 1 6A Player of the Year … played in and elected captain of the Border Bowl and ‘Best of the Bluegrass’ All-Star game … offensive team MVP … also played baseball for four years … earned all-district and all-region honors in baseball.
