Phil Steele Second-Team All-ASUN ... Started all 11 games ... made three starts at center and eight at right guard ... helped EKU rank fourth in the nation in red-zone scoring (93.9 percent) ... part of a unit that ranked 19th nationally in sacks allowed per game (1.27 sacks per game) ... helped the Colonels accumulate 400 yards of offense in five of the final seven games of the season. 

AS A SENIOR IN 2020 AT VMI
Started all eight games, the first five at right guard and the final three at center … helped VMI average 428 yards of offense per game, including 310 through the air.
 
AS A JUNIOR IN 2019 AT VMI
Moved to the center position prior to the start of the season and started all 12 games there, extending his offensive line starting streak to 23 games … on the field for 940 total plays on the season – the most of anyone on the squad … earned 2019-20 SoCon Academic Honor Roll. 
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2018 AT VMI
Moved into the starting lineup and made 11 starts at right guard … played the most snaps of VMI offensive linemen with 948 plays … entered the year as a preseason All-SoCon second team selection … SoCon Academic Honor Roll recipient. 
 
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2017 AT VMI
Played in six games seeing action as a reserve ... appeared for a combined total of 49 plays in games against Air Force, Catawba, Robert Morris, Chattanooga, Furman, and Western Carolina ... lettered as a true freshman.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
All-State First Team OL in 2015 and 2016 and was First Team All-State as DL in 2016 at Fuqua School ... two-time team MVP on OL ... had 38 tackles and 31 assists with a sack and pass deflection in 2016 ... named a Virginia Commonwealth Conference First Team All-Conference offensive lineman in 2014 ... VCC All-Academic in 2013 and 2014 ... SCA Pres. and recipient of the Anna McGovern scholarship ... father was an offensive lineman at Randolph-Macon.
