At EKU –
2013: Missed the first three games with an injury … started the final nine games at safety … piled up a team-best 61 tackles … notched a team season-high 15 stops in the finale at Murray State … also picked up a fumble recovery versus the Racers … recovered a fumble at Southeast Missouri on Oct. 26, ending a potential scoring threat by the Redhawks … tallied at least five tackles in seven of his nine appearances, including 11 stops versus UT Martin on Nov. 16.
2012: Started all 11 games at strong safety … led the team and ranked 12th in the OVC with 81 tackles … tallied at least seven tackles in seven different games … posted nine stops and a forced a fumble in the opener at Purdue … notched his first collegiate interception and sack against Morehead State on Sept. 8 … racked up eight tackles and two pass break-ups in the win over Austin Peay on Oct. 13 … led all players with 10 stops against Murray State on Nov. 10.
2011: Played in all 12 games with one start at strong safety … also saw plenty of action on special teams … posted a tackle in six contests … tallied a season-high four tackles in the win at Eastern Illinois on Oct. 8 … added two stops, including a tackle for loss, in the FCS playoff game against James Madison. 2010: Took a redshirt season.
High School – Second team all-region … two-year starter … team was 41-14 in his four years on the team … Peachtree Ridge won the 5A state title in 2006 and was runner-up in 2008 … posted 1,300 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns … also tallied 25 receptions for 275 yards and one score … placed third in the high jump at the state track championships.
