Played in all 13 games, starting eight ... recorded 49 total tackles with three TFLs, and one fumble recovery in the FCS Playoffs against Villanova ... added two pass breakups on the season ... posted a season-high nine tackles in the Colonels' upset of then No. 7 Tarleton State.

Appeared in all 11 games including one start against Gardner Webb (Oct. 21) ... recorded 30 tackles, two for loss both of which were sacks ... season high of seven tackles came against Central Arkansas (Nov. 11) ... added two quarterback hurries on the year.

Father, EJ III, played at Alabama, earning Consensus All-America honors in 1979 and was named to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2020...Brother EJ IV played at UC in 2013-14 and finished his career at Tennessee State
