Brad Queen is in a new role with the Colonel football team this fall as he is now the Director of Player Development and Video Coordinator.
In his current role at EKU, Queen will work directly with EKU football student-athletes, providing mentoring and ensuring they are adhering to the program goals and policies regarding character, leadership and mental and skill development. Queen will also take over the video responsibilities for the Colonels.
Queen previously served as an assistant offensive line coach in 2014 and offensive graduate assistant for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
Before coming to EKU, Queen served two years as the defensive line coach at Kentucky Christian University. Queen concluded his collegiate playing career at KCU where he earned first team Mid-South all-conference accolades as a senior defensive lineman in 2009. He also played two years of football at Morehead State in 2005 and 2006.
Queen graduated from Kentucky Christian in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in bible and ministry emphasis in youth ministry. He recently completed his master’s degree in sports administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
A native of Greenup, Kentucky, Queen and his wife Clerrinda of Olive Hill, Kentucky, reside in Richmond.
