Dalvin Jones joined the EKU football program as football equipment coordinator in the summer of 2017.

At Eastern Kentucky, Jones is responsible for managing all football equipment, fitting athletes for apparel, and assisting in ordering of new gear.  He interacts with all players daily making sure all of their equipment needs are met.
 
Jones served as the director of football athletic equipment at Murray State University during the 2016 season.  He was responsible for developing and implementing a yearly plan to purchase and maintain athletic equipment, oversaw the football equipment budget, fitted all athletic equipment to ensure safety, supervised the student managers and coordinated field set-up for practice.
 
Before moving to Murray State, Jones was the assistant football equipment coordinator at Davidson College for a year.  He also worked for a year as an equipment assistant with the Chicago Bears.
 
Jones earned a bachelor’s of science degree in sports management from Eastern Michigan University in June 2012.  He served as a student equipment manager at EMU for more than two years.  After earning his degree, Jones served a one year internship with the San Francisco 49’ers before returning to his alma mater in an assistant role from August 2012 to July 2013.
