Dwight Sutton is now in his second year on the EKU coaching staff and will once again coach the cornerbacks.
Sutton, a native of Bradenton, Florida, spent three seasons as the cornerbacks coach at Lindsey Wilson College before coming to EKU. Prior to Lindsey Wilson, he served a year at Malone (Ohio) where he worked with the cornerbacks and special teams.
As a student-athlete, Sutton played at Muskingum (Ohio) where he was a three-year starter at wide receiver. He concluded his career at Muskingum ranked seventh on the program’s career receiving yards list. During his senior season, Sutton was named the team’s offensive most valuable player.
Sutton graduated from Muskingum in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He completed a master’s degree in athletic administration from Western Kentucky in 2013.
