Yon Boone is in his second season on the Colonel football coaching staff as a defensive graduate assistant.
Before arriving at EKU, Boone spent two years at Wofford College in a variety of roles including defensive quality control (defensive backs), video coordinator and head equipment manager.
As an undergraduate student at Hamline University in Minnesota, Boone interned as the assistant video coordinator and recruiting assistant. He graduated from Hamline in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in social studies education.
