Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman Team … played in all 31 matches and 115 of 118 sets … totaled 507 assists, 171 digs, 19 aces, 19 kills and one block … averaged 4.41 assists and 1.49 digs per set … contributed a season-high 30 assists in a 3-2 win over North Florida (Oct. 27) … recorded 25 assists at Marshall (Sept. 17) and at Stetson (Nov. 9) … also had a season-high 17 digs at Stetson … served up a season-high three aces at Boston College (Aug. 31) … Atlantic Sun Conference Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-time all-state and first team all-region selection … helped Pope High School to a state championship runner-up finish in 2023, totaling 954 assists, 213 digs, 64 aces, 63 kills and 23 blocks … broke the program record for career assists with 3,030 … helped the Greyhounds win the state title and finish with a 45-5 record as a junior in 2022, finishing with 1,132 assists, 319 digs, 78 kills, 65 aces and 33 blocks.

Full name is Cooper Lorraine Abney … daughter of Pat and Kristi Abney … has one brother – Drew, and one sister – Wynnie … her mom Kristi played softball and basketball at Kennesaw State and is a member of the KSU Hall of Fame … her dad Pat played basketball and golf at Kennesaw State and is a member of the KSU Hall of Fame … her dad also played golf at Georgia Tech … majoring in management.
