Played in 10 games while making two starts at wide receiver ... 4-of-6 passing for 34 yards and interception ... rushed 10 times for 37 yards ... also caught four passes for 100 yards ... hauled in a 41-yard reception against Abilene Christian (Oct. 9) ... rushed for 16 yards and added a 39-yard reception against Lamar (Oct. 30) ... 2-for-2 for 20 yards passing against Louisville (Sept. 11).

Backup quarterback … saw first action versus Kent State … 5-for-7 passing versus Samford, with touchdown passes to Zach Farrar of 27 and four yards; also rushed for 31 yards ... SEC academic honor roll.

Redshirt season … backup quarterback who arrived in August after a stint in minor league baseball … saw action versus Alabama State, rushing for 35 yards and throwing a 22-yard pass to Cedric Chambers ... SEC first-year academic honor roll

BEFORE AUBURN
Played six seasons in the Philadelphia Phillies minor league system as an outfielder, posting a .243 career batting average and rising as high as Class AA … 2015 minor league Gold Glove winner … he was a third-round pick of the Phillies in the 2013 draft out of Manatee (Fla.) High School.

HIGH SCHOOL
2012 HTPreps Football Player of the Year and Class 7A State Player of the Year at Manatee High School for Coach Joe Kinnan … passed for 2,735 yards and 35 touchdowns with one interception in 264 attempts … also ran for 600 yards on 96 carries, a 6.25 average, with 10 TD … for his three-year career,  572-of-786 (73 percent) for 7,829 yards with 79 touchdowns and 11 interceptions and rushed for 1,991 yards and 31 touchdowns … top four percent of class academically
