Played in all 11 games ... made five tackles with 0.5 for loss... recorded one interception on the season against UNA.

Played in three games … had three tackles, including one tackle for a loss.

HIGH SCHOOL
Chosen first team all-region and first team all-district as a senior at Maplewood High School in 2019 … had 100 tackles, 18 sacks, three fumble recoveries, one interception, one forced fumble, one touchdown and 38 pancakes his senior season … had 36 pancakes as a junior in 2018 at Germantown High School … also wrestles for Maplewood, winning a region and district championship, and qualifying for the state tournament twice … also had offers from Austin Peay, Tennessee-Martin, East Tennessee, Southeast Missouri and Chattanooga … chose EKU because “the school is so beautiful and advanced, which makes other schools look old and worn out … the agriculture program is one of the most advanced programs I have seen … the coaching staff and players have a bond like they’re family”.

Full name is Gabriell Fletcher … son of William Fletcher, and Terry and Sheena Hanserd … has four brothers – Gedalyah, William, Tyler and Leslie, and two sisters – Sahara and Victoria ... his mom Sheena played volleyball and ran track at Tennessee State … his father William played football and ran track at Tennessee State … his uncle Myron Broome ran track at Tennessee State … his grandmother Mildred Broome ran track and played basketball at Tennessee State … his cousin Arcentae Broome played football at Tennessee State … his cousin Cameron Baker played football at Memphis … his cousin Aavion Ferguson played basketball at Tennessee-Martin … his cousin Darius Hooten played football at Alabama A&M … plans to study agricultural science/pre veterinarian.
