2011 Scouting Report – A big running back who has a burst of speed in his game … will once again be in competition for the starting running back position … the lone senior in the running back group.
At EKU –
2010: Featured as the team’s starting running back in the final six games … finished second on the squad in both rushing attempts (94) and yards (423) … produced a rushing touchdown in each of the last five games of the year … ran for a personal-high 103 yards while averaging 7.9 yards per carry in the win over TTU on Nov. 13 … chipped in with 99 all-purpose yards the following week against Austin Peay.
2009: Saw action in all 11 games while starting the season finale at Jacksonville State … finished fourth on the team in rushing attempts (22) and yardage (220) … tallied at least one carry in every game … averaged 5.1 yards per carry, second highest on the team … had a season-high nine carries against Kentucky on Nov. 7 including a two-yard touchdown run … chipped in with a 30-yard run at Indiana on Sept. 3 … ran eight times for 35 yards and a score against UT Martin on Oct. 17.
2008: Played in all 12 games … served as a key contributor on special teams and as a back-up running back … tallied two or more carries in seven contests … posted 14 rushes for 49 yards and a score against Murray State on Nov. 15 … compiled 24 rushing yards against Morehead State on Sept. 13 … recorded a season-best 14-yard scamper versus Eastern Illinois on Oct. 25.
2007: Took a redshirt season.
High School – First team all-state and all-district pick … rushed for more than 2,600 yards as a senior and 2,000 yards as a junior … recorded 37 touchdowns as a senior … left high school with Virginia’s single-season rushing and touchdown record … Offensive Player of the Year for Warren County.
