Started twice at slot receiver and played in a total of six games … totaled nine receptions for 53 yards … threw one pass for a 17-yard completion, against Indiana State (Sept. 14) … had a season-best four catches for a season-high 21 yards at Indiana State.

Played in nine games as a true freshman … started three times at slot receiver and also played quarterback … caught 12 passes for 106 yards, an average of 8.8 per reception … completed 9-of-11 passes for 72 yards with one interception … ran the ball 25 times for 213 yards, fifth-most on the team … scored two rushing touchdowns … scored one two-point conversion … caught three passes for 39 yards in his collegiate debut at Purdue (Sept. 8) … played quarterback one week later and completed 4-of-5 passes for 30 yards in addition to running for 54 yards and a touchdown on eight carries against Pikeville (Sept. 8) … first collegiate rushing touchdown came on an eight-yard run … caught two passes for 32 yards in a victory over Southeast Missouri (Oct. 8) … went 3-for-3 for 39 yards, rushed six times for 46 yards and scored a touchdown against Murray State (Nov. 5) … scored his second touchdown of the season on a 33-yard run … completed both pass attempts and rushed for 89 yards on six carries at Austin Peay (Nov. 12) before leaving the game with an injury.

HIGH SCHOOL
Led Mallard Creek to the state championship and earned MVP honors at the championship game … passed for 3,346 yards and threw 35 touchdown passes his senior season … rushed for 1,197 yards and scored 18 touchdowns on the ground in 2015 … also led the Mavericks to the state title as a junior, earning championship game MVP honors … chosen as the Charlotte Observer Player of the Year and the conference player of the year in 2014 … threw for 3,357 yards and 35 touchdowns while rushing for 1,350 yards and 25 touchdowns his junior season.
