2009 Scouting Report – Adds depth to the linebacker position … still learning the defensive system … could see time on special teams.

At EKU – 2008: Took a redshirt season.

High School – Played one season of varsity football for the Westview Wolverines … mainly played tight end, defensive end and linebacker … also played golf and ran track as a prepster.

Personal – Son of John and Joan Jackson … born on Oct. 2, 1988 … both of his parents graduated from Eastern Kentucky University … his dad was a two-time All-OVC offensive tackle for EKU in 1986 and 1987 who went on to play 14 years of professional football … his dad was inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009 … he is three-quarters African-American and one-quarter Japanese.
