2015 Scouting Report –Enters fall camp as the number two quarterback

At EKU – 2014: Did not play due to a knee injury. 2013: Played in eight games mainly as the number two quarterback … came on to play the second half against UT Martin on Nov. 16 and then started the season finale at Murray State … suffered an injury early in the Murray State game and did not return … scored a rushing touchdown against Coastal Carolina on Sept. 14 and UT Martin on Nov. 16 … connected with Devin Borders for a 42-yard pass against UTM to set up a touchdown. 2012: Took a redshirt season.

High School – Completed 57 percent of his passes, amassing 1,870 yards and 14 touchdowns … rushed 148 times for 954 yards and 17 touchdowns … unanimous first team all-district quarterback … team MVP and captain … Rivals.com two-star recruit … also lettered in track as a sophomore.

Personal – Son of Leonard and Jami Romano … born on Oct. 18, 1993.
