AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2022
Played in seven games ... made one start. 

IN 2021
Played in seven games while making two starts ... caught seven passes for 56 yards and one touchdown ... hauled in three catches for 37 yards and a touchdown against Indiana State (Sept. 18).

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2020
Played in all nine games … started three times … caught four passes for 51 yards and one touchdown … averaged 12.8 yards per catch … caught one pass for a 7-yard touchdown in a win over No. 11 Central Arkansas (Oct. 24) … had two receptions for 30 yards in the 2020 Opportunity Bowl victory over Western Carolina (Nov. 21).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019
Redshirt season … appeared in four games including a start against Tennessee Tech (Nov. 16) … finished the season with three receptions for 22 yards … caught his first collegiate pass at No. 17 Southeast Missouri (Nov. 9) for a season-high 14 yards … caught two passes against Tennessee Tech (Nov. 16) for eight yards.

HIGH SCHOOL
Led the Spartans to a region championship and an improbable run to the state semifinals … averaged 22.7 yards per reception … earned all-region honors … was also recruited by Memphis and Tennessee State.

Full name is Roderick Malik Owens … son of Rodney and Tiffany Owens … has two brothers – Rodney, and Rashad, and one sister – Antoinette ... plans to study sport management.
