FCS Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star Team … appeared in all 11 games … made 15-of-21 field goal attempts … connected on all 33 point-after attempts … hit a season-long 43-yard field goal in the season-finale at Tennessee Tech (Nov. 17) … kicked off 60 times with 11 touchbacks and an average of 57.4 yards per kickoff … punted five times and placed four inside the 20 yard line … led the Ohio Valley Conference and finished 12th in the nation with 1.36 field goals per game … was fifth in the OVC with a 71.4 field goal percentage … two-time OVC Specialist of the Week … made three field goals in a game twice, against Southeast Missouri (Sept. 22) and at Tennessee Tech (Nov. 17) ... earned the Ohio Valley Conference Medal of Honor, which is given annually to the student-athletes that achieve the highest grade point average in a conference-sponsored sport ... earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Full name is Samuel Allen Hayworth ... son of Kevin and Maria Hayworth ... has two brothers – Gaston and Zeli … his brother Gaston was a member of the track and field team at Wofford College  … is a member of the honors college ... completed a degree in biomedical science with a focus in pre-medicine while pursuing a minor in chemistry ... working on a master's degree in public health with a concentration in environmental health science.
