DeMontae Haigler arrived in Richmond, KY Mar. of 2024, joining the Colonels as an Assistant Director of Sports Performance with football after serving as an administrative strength & conditioning coach at Arkansas. 

Prior to Arkansas, Haigler spent the 2023 season with Texas A&M football team also serving as an administrative strength & conditioning coach. Before his stint with the Aggies, Haigler began his career at the University of Louisiana-Monroe, where he served as a Graduate Assistant. 

At ULM, Haigler served as the Head strength & conditioning coach for Men’s & Women’s basketball as well as Women’s Tennis. He also assisted with football. 

A former student-athlete, Haigler played football at Bowling Green State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Shortly after, he earned his master’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

The Montgomery, Alabama native is a certified strength & conditioning specialist with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also holds a certification as a United States Weightlifting Association Level 1 Weightlifting Coach (USAw).Â
