Patrick Mooneyham joined the EKU football program as an offensive quality control coach in the summer of 2019.
In his first season with the Colonels, Mooneyham aided an offense that led the conference and finish 20th in the country in rushing. Eastern also led the conference in red-zone offense and was third in scoring.
During the 2018 season, Mooneyham was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was one of the youngest Class 6A offensive coordinators in the state. Prior to the 2018 season, Mooneyham served as the wide receivers coach at Biloxi High for three seasons (2015-17).
Mooneyham coached the wide receivers at Germantown High School for two seasons (2013-14).
Mooneyham played one season of college football at Arkansas-Monticello and two seasons at Itawamba Community College (2007-09). He earned a bachelor’s of science degree in secondary education – mathematics from Mississippi State University in May of 2012. He and his wife Heather reside in Lexington.
