Thomas Bowling

Thomas Bowling joined the football staff in 2021 after a four-year playing career with the Colonels. As a player, Bowling played in 31 games from 2017-20.  He earned the Ohio Valley Conference Medal of Honor in 2018, which is given annually to the student-athletes that achieve the highest-grade point average in a conference-sponsored sport and was a two-time selection to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll. As a senior, he was a preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference selection by Phil Steele.
Bowling served as an Operations Assistant in January of 2021. After a year in the position, Bowling was named Director of Football Operations in February of 2022. As the Director of Football Operations, Bowling is responsible for coordinating all aspects of team travel logistics, managing the program budget, maintaining the team calendar and serves as a point of contact for mass communication with players and staff. Bowling also assists with recruiting operations, fundraising, summer camps and helps develop the summer meal plan program. 

Bowling attended Bardstown High School and was the Valedictorian of his graduating class. Bowling earned a Master of Business Administration from EKU in Fall of 2022 after earning his Bachelors of Business in Spring of 2021 and graduating with a 3.93 GPA. 

Bowling is the son of Paul and Stacy Bowling of Bardstown, Kentucky.
