Thomas Schultz joined the EKU football program as equipment coordinator in the summer of 2020.
Schultz served as the equipment assistant at San Diego University from January 2019 to 2020. He was responsible for supervising and training of student managers for field setup and tear-down for football practice and game day. He also fitted helmets and shoulder pads.
From April 2018 to January 2019, Schultz was an equipment intern at Eastern Michigan University. He created and implemented a student manual for policies and procedures, and supervised and trained 10-15 student managers.
Schultz was a student manager at EMU from August 2013 to April 2018. He earned a bachelor’s in sports management from Eastern Michigan in 2018.
