Thor Daley joined the EKU football program as an offensive quality control coach in the spring of 2020.
In his first season, Daley helped an offense that concluded the fall third in the nation in passing offense (247.4 yards per game) and fourth in the country in total offense (376.4 yards per game). The Colonels ran up a season-high 590 yards of offense against Western Carolina in the 2020 Opportunity Bowl. The unit totaled 400 yards or more of offense in six of the final seven games of the season.
Daley served as an offensive graduate assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from August 2018 to the spring of 2020. He worked directly with the tight ends, conducting daily meetings and running drills during practice. He also assisted in weekly film breakdown, ran study tables and helped with recruiting visits.
During the 2017 season, Daley was the assistant offensive line coach at Trine University in Angola, Indiana. He assisted the offensive line coach, ran drills during practice and ran the scout team.
Daley earned a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration at Trine in December 2017. He is working on a master’s in education from Wisconsin-Stout.
