At Syracuse – 2008: Took a redshirt season.

High School – 2007 SuperPrep and Prep Star All-Midwest selection … named all-metro and Emfinger All-American … rated the 28th best prospect in Ohio and 60th top “athlete” in the country by Rivals.com … totaled 85 receptions for 1,448 yards and 12 touchdowns as a prepster … also rushed 79 times for 804 yards and 18 scores … registered 33 catches for 671 yards and six touchdowns as a senior despite missing four games due to injury … helped lead 2007 squad to 13-1 record and regional title.

Personal – Son of Denise Mazzitti and Jerry Fairchild … born on July 28, 1989 … full name is Jerald (Trey) Francis Fairchild III … his sister, Hailey, will join the gymnastics program at West Virginia University this fall.
