AS A SENIOR IN 2019-20
Started all 33 games and ranked second the team in scoring at 12.2 points-per-game … led the team with 74 three-pointers … ranked sixth in the OVC in three-pointers-per-game (2.2) … led the team in minutes played (30.7/game) … also averaged 3.7 rebounds-per-game and contributed 47 assists and 35 steals … voted OVC Newcomer of the Week twice during the season … earned his first honor on Nov. 25 after averaging 16 points and 5.3 rebounds-per-game while shooting 41 percent from three-point range over three games from Nov. 19-23 … also named to the Battle for the Capital All-Tournament Team during that stretch … named OVC Newcomer of the Week again on Feb. 3 after averaging 20 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists-per-game in wins over UT Martin and Southeast Missouri … notably poured in a career-high 27 points on 5-of-9 shooting from deep to lead the Colonels to the win over UT Martin on Jan. 31.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2018-19 (at UNC Wilmington)
poured in a career-high 29 points vs. Campbell as a junior ... in all, Taylor  played in 85 collegiate games and scored 658 points in his collegiate career (7.7 points-per-game).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2017-18 (at UNC Wilmington)
Started 31 games and ranked third on the team at 13.6 points-per-game. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds and just under 2.0 assists-per-game.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016-17 (at Wichita State University)
Appeared in 20 games as a freshman at Wichita State, averaging 3.0 points and 0.9 rebounds-per-game.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played under A.W. Hamilton at Hargrave Military Academy during the 2014-15 season ... averaged 18 points-per-game while helping Hargrave to a 38-6 record and a national Elite Eight appearance ... was four-year varsity player and averaged 20.9 points-per-game as a senior at Grandview High School, just south of Kansas City.

Full name is Tyrone Gerard Taylor ... son of Tyrone and Melaine Taylor, and Theresa Taylor ... majoring in mass communication with a minor in pre-law and sports administration.
