Chris O'Bryan is beginning his first season as a graduate manager for the EKU basketball team.
O'Bryan spent the past two seasons as a student manager for the Colonels.
O'Bryan's duties include scouting and breaking down film, charting defensive statistics, create scouting reports for opponents and helping with on-court drills during practice.Â
The native of Louisville started coaching basketball in 2011 at a local middle school, and he also coached high school basketball for a year in Lexington.
His goal is to be come a Division I head basketball coach by the age of 45.
"I got into coaching because I always loved sports and I like the thrill of one team working towards one goal," O'Bryan said. "I played sports all through high school, and had a dad who coached me growing up. That helped motivate me to one day want to be a coach."
