David Harrison

David Harrison is set to begin his first year as a graduate student assistant coach at EKU.  Harrison brings the experience of a 13-year professional career that included stops in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.
 
The Louisville, Kentucky native lived in more than 25 countries while playing in over 700 professional games.  He helped the Yakima Sun Kings win the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) Championship in 2000.  He led the CBA in scoring (28.8 ppg) while playing for the Rockford Lightning in 2003.  Harrison led the Honduras Basketball League in scoring (34.6 ppg) and led Icivic to the HBL Championship in 2009.  In 2010 he earned first team honors while leading the Colombia Copa Federation in scoring with an average of 27.2 points per game.
 
Most recently, Harrison served as an assistant coach for the women’s team at Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts during the 2013-14 season.
 
Harrison earned first team NAIA All-America honors while playing for Campbellsville University in 1999.  He scored 1,041 points in two seasons with the Tigers, averaging 29.8 points per game.  He once scored 60 points and grabbed 24 rebounds in a single game.
 
Harrison completed a bachelor’s degree in organizational management at Campbellsville in 2012.
