Peter Thomas is beginning his first year in the role of Basketball Operations Assistant for the EKU Colonel men’s basketball squad.
His duties include assisting with the daily operations in the basketball office, assisting with travel and food arrangements on road trips as well as charting statistics during games.
Thomas graduated from the University of Richmond in the spring of 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in history after playing four years of basketball for the Spiders. The 2006-07 team captain was a two-time member of the Atlantic 10 All-Academic team. Thomas started 70 games for Richmond, finished with a 47.8 career field goal percentage and helped the Spiders reach the 2004 NCAA Tournament as an 11th seed.
