Ryan Hart is in his second year as Director of Basketball Operations after spending two seasons at Drake University as a graduate assistant coach.
“It is very important to me to hire people with championship experiences,” head coach Jeff Neubauer said. “Ryan was an integral part of Drake’s magical season two years ago. He is very organized and brings a fresh perspective.”
In addition to his game-day responsibilities, Hart coordinates team travel, handles the film breakdown and exchange, and is the staff liaison for marketing and promotions. Hart also serves as the camp director for the Jeff Neubauer Basketball Camps.
Drake posted two winning seasons while Hart was on staff and won the Missouri Valley Conference in 2007-08 after being picked ninth in the preseason polls. In his time with the Bulldogs, Hart was heavily involved with basketball operations. Hart also assisted with summer camps, academic advising and marketing.
A native of Wahoo, Neb., Hart earned his undergraduate degree from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Neb., in 2006. Hart served as the Warriors’ junior varsity men’s basketball coach for two seasons (2004-06).
