Daniel DeLuca joined the EKU men’s and women’s golf programs as a graduate assistant coach prior to the 2016 season.
DeLuca is a 2015 graduate of the sport management program at Eastern Kentucky. He is now pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration.
The Lexington, Kentucky native was a five year member of the Eastern Kentucky men’s golf team. During his time as a Colonel, DeLuca saw action in 22 events, firing a single round-best of 73 multiple times, the final time coming at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational his senior year.
“It’s a great opportunity for me to be able to start my career where I played,” DeLuca commented. “I am very fortunate to have this opportunity and I am going to work hard and make the most of it.”
Along with his current position, the former Colonel will continue his work with as the head male counselor at US Golf Camps in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania.
