Sophomore) – Split time between No. 1 and No. 2 singles … ended the season at the No. 2 spot … tied for the team lead with six OVC singles victories … won five matches that went to a deciding third set … notched a three-set win against Xavier on Jan. 25 which was a pivotal point in the 4-3 team victory … spent most of the season playing at No. 1 doubles where he went 7-5 … notched a team-best 11 doubles victories.
2012-13 (
Freshman) – Became just the second EKU player ever to win the OVC Freshman of the Year award … ended the season on a five-match winning streak at No. 3 singles … finished second on the team with 13 dual singles victories … posted a 9-2 record at the No. 3 spot … won both of his OVC tournament singles matches.
Off the Court – Has climbed up to No. 438 in the Spanish national rankings … won a few junior tournaments … also played soccer and basketball … in his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym and going to the movies.
