Player Profile – de la Llera has a strong serve and plays very aggressive tennis … one of the top doubles players on the team … should be a consistent contributor in singles as well … should compete for All-OVC honors this year.

2013-14 (Junior) – Spent the majority of the spring playing No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles with Alex Álvaro … tied for the team lead with six OVC singles wins … posted a 5-1 record in OVC doubles matches … tallied a six-match winning streak in doubles late in the season … picked up the deciding point in the 4-3 win over SIUE on March 15.

2012-13 (Sophomore) – Finished his first season on the squad at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles … led the team with 11 dual doubles victories … went 6-3 in OVC singles competition … all six victories were in straight sets … was victorious in both singles and doubles versus Morehead State in the OVC tournament.

2011-12 (Freshman) – Played at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky … named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year.

Off the Court – Enjoys playing soccer and padel in his spare time … plans to go to graduate school after earning his bachelor’s degree … on the court, he wants to earn a championship ring in his final year with the Colonels.
