AS A JUNIOR IN 2016-17
Remained a crucial part of the team after notching 20 wins in singles play … went 4-2 in conference singles … combined for a total 17 wins in doubles play … garnered a spot on All-OVC First Team … member of the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015-16
Carried momentum from successful freshman year into sophomore season, picking up first team All-OVC honors ... helped senior Alex Álvaro upend the No. 15th ranked doubles team at defending national champions, UVA ... along with Álvaro, van Flymen cracked the ITA top 60 to become the first members in EKU history to earn a ranking ... also competed at NCAA doubles championship in Tulsa ... split time at the top three singles spots ... went 5-3 in OVC play ... picked up a two-set win over Belmont in OVC Tournament semifinal match ... won eight of nine matches including a six match win streak during the season ... went 18-13 in doubles play and logged a 6-2 win at the No. 2 spot in OVC Tournament championship match.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014-15
Made his presence known in first year in Richmond ... posted a 14-10 overall mark in singles play ... won four of first five OVC matches ... went 6-3 in conference singles play.
 
PERSONAL
Was the doubles national champion in his age group and also quarterfinalist in singles … also played soccer, but enjoys just about every single sport … enjoys hanging out with friends in his spare time.
