Biography
2011: Was the Colonels’ No. 2 runner throughout the cross country season … named to the All-Southeast Region team after finishing 15th overall in a 10K time of 30:35.9 at the Southeast Region Championships to help lead the EKU men to their first-ever team berth in the NCAA Championships … finished 83rd out of 252 runners at the NCAA Championships with a 10K time of 30:41 … ran a season-best 8K time of 24:24.48 in the Colonels’ win at the Navy Invitational.
Prior to EKU: A two-time NCAA All-American at Auburn University ... named an outdoor track and field All-American when he finished seventh in the 10,000 meters at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships ... named a cross country All-American when he placed 18th at the 2009 NCAA Cross Country Championships ... a five-time Southeastern Conference track and field champion ... named the 2010 NCAA South Region Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year ... was the runner-up at the 2010 SEC Cross Country Championships ... PRs at Auburn include a 8:01.38 in the indoor 3,000 meters, 13:41.80 in the 5,000 meters and 29:09 in the 10,000 meters ... won the 2007 NJCAA Cross Country National Championship while at Rend Lake College ... was also named to the 2007 NJCAA Academic All-American team.
