AS A SENIOR IN 2017
Tossed a 3.01 earned run average during her final season … logged 10 wins … threw five complete games … was sixth in the conference in batters struck out looking (41).
 
AS A JUNIOR IN 2016
Ranked second in the country with eight saves on the year … shattered the previous EKU record of four saves in a season … led the OVC in relief appearances (25) … ranked fourth in the OVC with 40 batters struck out looking … her 43 appearances were fourth most in the league … atop the league with 23 games finished … recorded 100 strikeouts on the year in 125 and one third innings on the mound … named to OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015
Appeared in 12 games … had a 3.41 ERA over 26.2 innings of work … had 16 strikeouts … had five strikeouts over 3.1 innings of work against Morehead State (March 28) … allowed no hits in 1.2 innings of work at Jacksonville State (May 3). 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014
Made eight appearances as a relief pitcher and picked up two wins … ranked second on the team with a 2.93 ERA … did not give up an earned run in her first four appearances … in her collegiate debut against ETSU on April 1, she entered the game in the top of the seventh with no outs and two runners on base, and did not allow a run … picked up a win on April 6 at SIUE thanks to pitching 5.0 innings, striking out four batters and allowing just one unearned run … tallied three strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work against Austin Peay on April 19 … 2013-14 Colonel Scholar.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years of varsity softball at pitcher and first base … earned first team all-district pitcher honors three times … Washington Post All-Met honorable mention pitcher in 2012 … district’s Most Outstanding Player as a junior … two-time all-region second team pitcher.

Daughter of Ed and Leslie Sallberg … born on Sept. 9, 1995 … has a brother, Robert… has been a competitive swimmer her whole life … majoring in recreation and park administration.
