Jack McGrath from Illinois (Loyola Academy) brings another linebacker addition for EKU, coming off an 8A Illinois State Championship in his senior season. In 2023, McGrath recorded 75 tackles while adding one interception, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.

Son of Kate and Dan McGrath, has one sister (Mia)... plans on studying business... enjoys fishing, hunting, video games, off roading, and playing guitar...his father Dan was coached by Jack Harbaugh when he played football as a linebacker at WKU where he was an All-American ...his mother Kate played volleyball at John Carrol, sister plays volleyball at Clemson.
