2015-16:
Cross CountryMissed most of the cross country season with an injury, but returned late in the fall to help vault EKU to its 10th straight OVC title and fifth berth in the NCAA Championships … finished first on the team and seventh overall at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships with a 10K time of 29:29.3 … earned All-Southeast Region honors for his performance … his performance also led EKU to a third-place finish and an at-large berth to NCAAs … placed 124th at the national championships with a 10K time of 31:10.8, helping the Colonels finish 17th nationally … made his season debut at the OVC Championships, where he finished second overall with an 8K time of 24:35.7.
Track and Field – Did not compete until the outdoor season … won gold in the 10,000 meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a time of 30:31.2 … also ran 8:31.3 for 3,000 meters during the outdoor season.

2014-15:
Cross CountryVoted the OVC Male Cross Country Runner of the Year … placed 10th out of 231 runners with a 10K time of 30:26.8 at the NCAA Southeast Regional to help the EKU men finish fourth and earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships … named All-Southeast Region for his performance at that meet … was named the OVC Male Cross Country Runner of the Week every time he competed during the regular season … won the Bluegrass Invitational on Sept. 13 with an 8K time of 23:49.52 … posted a personal-best 8K time of 23:27.4 at the loaded Notre Dame Invitational on Oct. 3.
Track and Field – Qualified for the NCAA East Regional with a PR of 29:10.87 in the 10,000 meters, which he ran at the Virginia Challenge on April 18 … that is the third-fastest 10,000 meters time in EKU history ... finished 33rd in the 10,000 meters at the regional meet with a time of 31:10.65 ... took gold in the 5,000 meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a personal-best time of 14:20.33 ... also ran a PR of 3:49.67 in the 1,500 meters during the outdoor season ... won his first individual conference title at the OVC Indoor Championships, taking gold in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:30.32 … also took silver in the mile with a time of 4:14.35 and was a member of the distance medley relay team that finished second (10:20.75) … recorded indoor season best times of 4:10.13 in the Kentucky Invitational on Jan. 16 and 8:08.20 in the 3,000 meters at the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 13 … named OVC Male Track Athlete of the Week following his 3,000 meters performance at Iowa State.

2013-14: 
Cross Country – Did not compete due to injuries.
Track and Field – Earned two silver medals at the OVC Indoor Championships, finishing second in the mile with a personal-best time of 4:09.15 and second in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:24.12 … recorded indoor season-bests in the 3,000 meters (8:18.52) at the Iowa State Classic and the 5,000 meters (15:09.05) at the Rod McCravy Memorial … took bronze in the 1,500 meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a personal-best time of 3:49.70 … also scored points with a seventh-place finish in the 5,000 meters at the outdoor championships (15:14.24).

2012-13:
Cross Country –
 Named the OVC Male Freshman of the Year just before finishing third overall at the OVC Championships with an 8K time of 24:34.48 to help lead the EKU men to their seventh consecutive conference crown … finished in the team’s scoring five at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships, placing 35th overall with a 10K time of 31:04.75 and helping the Colonels reach their second straight NCAA Championships … ran the eighth-fastest 8K time in the OVC during the regular season when he led the EKU men’s ‘B’ team to a second-place finish out of 24 teams in the black race of the Greater Louisville Classic in a time of 24:44.60.
Track and Field – Finished fourth in the 3,000 meters at the OVC Indoor Track and Field Championships, logging a time of 8:25.37 … ran a personal-best time in the 3,000 meters at the Hoosier Hills Open on Feb. 8 (8:16.62) … clocked a personal-best 4:18.68 in the mile at the Middle Tennessee State Invitational on Feb. 2 … also scored points at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a sixth-place finish in the 1,500 meters (4:03.65) … recorded personal-bests in the 5,000 meters (14:33.97) and 1,500 meters (3:51.38) during the outdoor season.

High School AccomplishmentsThe Colonels' youngest recruit at 17 years old and a newcomer to running who has exhibited great talent ... comes from a running family, as his sister is former Colonel All-American Lydia Kosgei and his first cousin is U.S. Olympian Janet Cherobon-Bawcom.

Personal: Major is medical laboratory science.
