Cross Country – Posted a career-best 4K time of 14:52.00 at the EKU tri-meet finishing in sixth place… ran a personal-best 5K time of 17:06.50 at the ASUN Cross Country Championships finishing in 13^th place… clocked a 6K time of 21:55.20 at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
Track and Field – Finished in fourth place with a mile time of 4:57.64 at the Rod McCravy Memorial… ran a mile time of 4:53.83 to finish in seventh place at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational… clocked a personal-best 3,000m time of 9:23.09 at the David Hemery Valentine Invite… posted a career-best mile time of 4:50.55 at the ASUN Indoor Track & Field Championships… ran a personal-best 5,000m time of 16:57.73 at the Raleigh Relays… clocked a personal-best 1,500m time of 4:29.45 at the Rick Erdmann Twilight… posted a career-best steeplechase time of 10:23.19, which is the third-best in school history… earned a bronze medal at the ASUN Outdoor Track & Field Championships clocking a time of 10:40.11… finished in 22^nd place at the NCAA East Preliminary with a steeplechase time of 10:27.65.

Cross Country – Ran a career-best 4K time of 15:16.2 at the dual meet against Morehead State… posted her personal-best 5K time of 18:23.8 at the Furman Invitational.
Track and Field – Clocked a career-best 3,000m time of 9:54.79 at the Jim Green Track & Field Invitational finishing eighth overall… ran a personal-best mile time of 4:57.74 at the ASUN Indoor Track & Field Championships for another top 10 finish… had a personal-best 1,500m time of 4:35.15 at the Raleigh Relays… Finished seventh overall with a 1,500m time of 4:35.59 at the Clark Wood Invitational… Earned a bronze medal with a career-best 3,000 steeplechase time of 10.30.33 at the ASUN Outdoor Track & Field Championships… posted a personal-best time of 17:19.46 at ASUN outdoors finishing fifth overall.

2020-21
Cross Country – Finished 41^st at the OVC Cross Country Championships in March.
Track and Field – Earned two fourth place finishes at the OVC Outdoor Championships in May … took fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 10:54.6 … followed that up by placing fourth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:39.4 … ran a PB of 4:35.4 in the 1,500 meters at the Rick Erdmann in April.
 

2019-20 
Cross Country – Delivered a clutch performance at the OVC Championships, finishing fifth on the team and 19^th overall with a 5K time of 18:43.0 … her performance helped the Colonels edge Eastern Illinois by six points to win their eighth straight team crown … ran a season-best 6K time of 22:30.2 at the NCAA Southeast Regional in November.
Track and Field – Scored a point in the mile at the OVC Indoor Championships, clocking a personal-best time of 5:02.61 … also finished 11^th in the 3,000 meters at OVC indoors (10:15.28) … ran a season-best 10:02.96 in the 3,000 meters at the Hoosier Hills Invite in early February.


Prior to EKU: A Dutch U20 1,500m and steeplechase champion.


Personal: Full name is Anouk Wilhelmina van Gils ... daughter of Richard and Annemiek van Gils ... majoring in exercise science with a concentration in pre-physical therapy.
