2009: Named OVC Female Track and Field Freshman of the Year … won the 60 meters at the OVC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a meet record time of 7.55 … was one of only two athletes to set a new meet record at the indoor championships … also finished seventh in the finals of the 200 meters at the indoor championships with a time of 25.88 … took second in the 100 meters at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 11.84 … placed third in the 200 meters at the same meet with a time of 24.69 … won the 100 meters (12.13) and 200 meters (25.26) at the Centre Invitational … also won the 200 meters at the EKU Open in a then-season best time of 24.88 … competed at the prestigious Penn Relays in the 4x100 where her team ran a time of 48.66.
