Cross Country – Finished 34^th at the Bluegrass Invitational with an 8K time of 25:46.5.
Track and Field – Was a member of EKU’s gold medal winning DMR at the OVC Indoor Championships … also scored points at the indoor championships as a member of the 4x400 meter relay team, which finished sixth … ran a personal-best 4:19.9 in the mile during the indoor season … scored points with a sixth place finish in the 800 meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships (1:54.5) … also ran on the fourth-place 4x400 meter relay team at the outdoor championships.

2016-17
Cross Country – Finished 28^th out of 64 competitors at the season-opening Eagle Opener.
Track and Field – Just missed the podium at the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, taking fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.4 … ran a personal-best time of 1:52.9 a day earlier in the half-mile prelims … was also a member of EKU’s 4x400-meter relay team at the OVC Outdoor Championships, which scored points with a fifth-place finish (3:21.4) … also clocked a personal-best 1,500 meters time (3:58.1) during the outdoor season … helped score 18 points at the OVC Indoor Championships in February … a member of EKU’s gold medal-winning distance medley relay team (10:01.3) … ran a leg of the Colonels’ bronze medal winning 4x400-meter relay team (3:23.7) … took seventh in the 800 meters (1:57.1) … clocked a 400-meter PR (50.88) at the Marshall Chipotle Invitational on February 10. 

2015-16:
Cross Country – Redshirted the cross country season.
Track and Field – Was a member of EKU’s gold-medal winning distance medley relay team at the OVC Indoor Championships (10:09.35) … also scored points as a member of EKU’s 4x400 meter relay team at OVC indoors, which finished sixth in a time of 3:29.11 … placed 12^th in the 800 meters at the OVC Outdoor Championships with a personal-best time of 1:54.42 … also posted season-best times of 51.39 for 400 meters and 4:06.40 for 1,500 meters during the outdoor season.

High School Accomplishments: PRs of 50.74 for 400 meters and 16:24.40 for 5,000 meters.

Personal: Son of Tammy and David Winiger ... majoring in athletic training and pre-physical therapy.
