Cross Country – Clocked a season-best 8K time of 24:23.1 at the Virginia Invitational… finished in ninth place with an 8K time of 24:47.2 at the ASUN Cross Country Championships… posted a personal-best 10K time of 30:03.6 at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
Track and Field - Finished 2nd place with a new personal-best in the Mile at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational with a time of 4:04.09...3rd place finisher in the 5000 at the ASUN Indoor Championships with a 14:28.74, a personal-best...Finished 4th place with a new best in the 1500 at the Tennessee Invite, clocking a 3:48.67...Finished 3rd in the 10,000 with a personal-best time of 30:32.78 at the ASUN Outdoor Championships.

2022-23
Cross Country – Finished in fourth place at the EKU tri-meet with a 5K time of 15:45.30… ran a career-best five-mile time of 24:36.50 at the Joe Piane Invitational… clocked a personal-best 8K time of 23:41.80 finishing in sixth place at the ASUN Cross Country Championships... posted a 10K time of 30:43.90 at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
Track and Field – Ran a personal-best 3,000m time of 8:04.12 at the Sharon Colyear Danville Season Opener… finished in seventh place with a mile time of 4:11.68 at the Rod McCravy Memorial… clocked a career-best mile time of 4:06.92 at the ASUN Indoor Track and Field Championships… posted a personal-best 5,000m time of 14:29.29 at the Raleigh Relays… ran a personal-best steeplechase time of 8:54.12 to finish in fourth place at the ASUN Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

2021-22
Cross Country – Did not compete.
Track and Field – Finished fifth overall with a 3,000 time of 8:53.9 at the Weems Baskin Relay… clocked a personal-best 5,000m time of 14:49.61 at the Clark Wood Invitational finishing eighth overall...ran a career-best 1,500m time of 3:48.52 at Music City Distance Carvinal.

2020-21
Cross Country – Earned second team All-OVC honors after placing 14^th at the OVC Cross Country Championships in March.
Track and Field – Clocked a personal-best time of 4:08.8 in the mile during the indoor season, but did not run outdoors due to injury.


2019-20
Cross Country – Finished 16^th at the OVC Championships, clocking an 8K time of 25:33.1 … competed for the Colonels at the NCAA Southeast Regional in November, finishing sixth on the team with a 10K time of 33:05.5 … was named OVC Male Cross Country Runner of the Week on the opening week of the season after finishing third overall at the Queen City Invitational with a 5K time of 15:15.2 … ran a season-best 8K time of 25:28.7 at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational in October.
Track and Field – Pulled off an upset to win gold in the mile at the OVC Indoor Championships, clocking a personal-best time of 4:13.95 … also helped the EKU men win silver in the distance medley relay (10:08.16) at OVC indoors … posted a personal-best time of 8:19.99 in the 3,000 meters at the Hoosier Hills Invite in early February.


Prior to EKU: A three-time 1A Kentucky cross country champion ... won the 800m, 1600m and 3200m at the 2019 Kentucky 1A Track & Field Championship to lead Holy Cross High School to the state title.


Personal: Son of Jody and Carolyn Thornsberry ... majoring in bio-medicine.
